This project is an attempt to elevate the emotional content of a sonic environment. The framework for this piece is the collection of recordings made throughout the streets of Quito, Ecuador, which include the calls of street vendors, chattering crowds, passing traffic, and the wide-ranging testimonials of city residents. This framework is colored-in by instrumental improvisers reacting to what they hear.
